Clarification on the Fire Incident in the Raw Material Storage Area Behind the TPG Power Plant
Thachang Green Energy Public Company Limited (TGE or the Company) would like to inform that on August 14, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a fire incident occurred in the raw material storage area behind the TPG Power Plant, located at 79/5 Moo 3, Tha Chang Subdistrict, Tha Chang District, Surat Thani Province, Thailand.
Following the incident, the security team and employees immediately implemented the emergency response measures and fire protection procedures. The Company also coordinated with the relevant authorities and received support in the form of water trucks and fire engines, enabling the situation to be brought under control promptly.
No injuries or adverse impacts were reported as a result of the incident. In addition, there was no damage to, or spread of the fire to, other areas or properties.
The Company is currently investigating the cause of the incident, as well as assessing the details and extent of the damage in collaboration with the relevant experts. The damaged property is covered under the Company’s insurance policy, and the Company will proceed with the insurance claim in accordance with the applicable procedures.
The Company would like to express its sincere appreciation to the security team, employees, and relevant authorities for their support in providing water trucks and fire engines, as well as for their full cooperation and dedicated efforts. Their collective efforts enabled the incident to be brought under control and extinguished promptly and effectively.
The Company will review its safety measures and fire protection systems in light of this incident and continuously strengthen the relevant measures to enhance operational safety and minimize the likelihood of similar incidents occurring in the future.
With regard to the incident, the Company would like to confirm that it does not have any material impact on its core business operations, and its overall operations continue as normal.
