The Surat Thani Provincial Industrial Office has implemented the Environmental Industrial Network Project based on participation and good governance for fiscal year 2026 (B.E. 2569). The project aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of socially and environmentally responsible industrial operations among target groups, encourage continuous monitoring and surveillance of pollution impacts from industrial establishments that may affect surrounding communities, and promote stability and sustainability in the industrial sector. It also seeks to support harmonious and sustainable coexistence between industrial establishments and surrounding communities. Furthermore, the project aims to promote cooperation mechanisms and foster environmental understanding among local residents, industrial operators, government officials, and relevant stakeholders. In this regard, the Surat Thani Provincial Industrial Office organized an activity to promote participation in sustainable environmental management (CSR) under the theme “Planting Trees to Increase Green Areas within Industrial Facilities and Strengthen Relationships with the Community.”

Thachang Green Energy Public Company Limited participated in the project and the aforementioned activity, contributing to efforts to increase green areas within the industrial facilities and its surrounding areas, strengthen positive relationships between the industrial establishments and the local communities, and promote public participation in environmental conservation. These efforts contribute to fostering friendly, harmonious, and sustainable coexistence between the industrial sector and the surrounding communities.

Objective

1. To increase opportunities for people to participate in communities development.
2. To increase greenspaces in communities and factories.
